This is smart mobile ID Scanner that uses the CAMERA on the back of the tablet to scan the ID.

It reads drivers licenses, state issued ID cards, Passports and Passport Cards.

The system is powered by Industry BEST Honeywell SWIFTDECODER™ BARCODE DECODING SOFTWARE technology to quickly and easily capture and record information from driver’s licenses and passports. This is a light but super strong handheld tablet. It is slim - only 11mm thick and very light weight - only 9 oz.

However, this is a Tough and Rugged tablet. It is designed to master rough tasks and environments. It is water and dust proof (IP68) The display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass for optimal protection against impact and scratches.

This has a long battery life on a changing, working 8-10 hours for a shift before a charge is needed. It is fast charging, charging to full strength in under 1.5 hrs.

  • Fake ID Detection: In general, ID Scanners do not detect fake IDs from a barcode scan. They detect if a person is over 21, and that ID is not expired, based on the barcode. This system includes new advanced software to find 90% plus of Fake ID’s, with the Intellicheck upgrade option. 6 free fake scans are included. After that, the Fake ID module requires subscription purchase. There are no added costs for ID scanning for age check and expired check. Fake ID checking is via Intellicheck and requires WIFI or Ethernet connection.
  • When you want to do a fake check, you simply touch a button on the screen and the next scan will be checked through the intellicheck fake check service.
  • Subscriptions : You can decide on this after you get the system and try the fake scan feature. To learn about subscription when you get your system simply touch the learn about upgrading button on the tablet and enter your e-mail. You'll get information from us with all the details of the subscription program and the ability to reach out for any further questions. A Wi-Fi or Internet connection is required to send the e-mail and for the subscription module to activate.
  • Subscriptions also include software updates, remote support and will include new value-added features as we roll them out. We've designed the subscription program to be flexible, easy to use and economical. Subscriptions start at $10 a month, and currently range to $19.00 a month. Does Minor Decliner scan passports and military ID's?

The US Government prohibits using Military ID for non-Government uses, including as ID for an age restricted purchase.

The scanning of the technologies (to include barcodes) on Department of Defense ID cards is for U.S. government use only. The information is marked for official use only.

Not only is it unwise to photocopy military and government IDs or common access cards (CAC), it's actually illegal under Title 18, U.S. Code Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701, and is punishable by fine and imprisonment.

While other companies may claim to offer this feature, Minor Decliner is not going to run afoul of the Department of Defense and the US Government. Be very careful if someone says they can scan Military IDs. You may be exposing yourself and your company to big problems.
